Freeze Dried Aisle Coverage

The photos below are examples of coverage amounts based on 10 feet of aisle length. For example, in the photo below titled "20 cups", the photo shows 20 cups of petals in a 10 foot aisle length. To determine the total quantity, just multiply the listed cups by the number of 10 foot lengths in you aisle. For example, If you like the look of the 40 cup photo and your aisle is 50 feet long, multiply 40 cups by 5 and you need 200 cups.

20 to 60 cups of rose petals

10 to 40 cups of rose petals

40 to 150 cups of rose petals

Number of petals per cup

The number of petals per cup varies, depending on the size of the petals. For most common uses, such as for aisles, tossing, flower girl, etc., the volume of petals is much more important than a specific number of petals. Using small domestic roses, you could get 100+ petals per cup, while with large South American roses, you may only fit 20 to 30 petals per cup. Either way, a cup covers the same amount of area or fills the same amount in a cone or basket, regardless of the number of petals. Our calculator above is the best way to determine what you need based on usage.
